Aligned with the overall mission of Şırnak University, the mission of the Department of Management Information Systems (MIS) is as follows:

1-) To provide high-quality and qualified undergraduate education in the field of Management Information Systems in Turkey.

2-) To contribute to the national and international scientific community by conducting qualified research in the field of MIS.

3-) To train expert individuals in the use, development, and management of information systems in the information age, thereby contributing to employment in both the public and private sectors.

4-) To follow developments in the field of information systems and contribute to the national economy by educating specialists.

5-) To provide the necessary education in the field of MIS and foster collaborations with public and private sector institutions.
